Alicia Ann Allain was born July 14, 1969, in Brusly, Louisiana, USA. She always had a passion for filmmaking and acting. When she was asked in second grade what she wanted to do in the future, Alicia wrote, "I want to work in Hollywood."

At 18, she moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream.


Alicia started working as a hairstylist in Los Angeles until she eventually started acting and producing. She is known for her movies - Leather Jackets (1991), Caged Fear (1991), and The Badge (2002). She gained immense visibility in the entertainment industry as the spouse of the renowned American actor John Schneider.

Despite being denied British citizenship, she wasn't deterred and eventually created her own company, MAVEN ENTERTAINMENT, to help upcoming talents.

Alicia later met John Schneider when she hired him and his son, Chasen, to star in her movie Hate Crimes. They teamed up again for many other projects, including Like Son, Anderson Bench, and Bad Blood.

John was married and divorced twice before. He has one biological daughter, Karis, with his ex-wife, Elvira "Elly" Castle, who is also a superstar with an estimated net worth of $1 million to $5 million.

Alicia was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2019 after discovering a lesion during a routine dermatologist appointment. John married her when her treatment was ongoing.

She went into remission in 2020, but in Decatur, 2021, after she was involved in a race car crash, her cancer returned and metastasized to the bone. She had to spend more days in the hospital for her treatment.

Alicia's health deteriorated in February 2023, and her husband, John Schneider, honoring her wishes, brought her home for hospice care. Her loved ones were present with her for the next six days until she breathed her last on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 53.

She was a native of Brusly and a resident of Holden.

She is survived by her husband, John R. Schneider, who called her "My Smile"; her daughter, Jessica Ann Dollard (Daniel Turner), who she was very proud of; parents, Michael and Linda Marino Allain; brother, Brandy Michael Allain; grandmother, Doris Crutti Marino Alvarado; step-daughter, Karis Schneider (Justin); and granddaughter, Sierra Schneider.

Alicia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ferd Sr. and Ruby Allain, Joe Marino.


Alicia Allain was a passionate filmmaker and actress who thrived in her career, geared by her resilience to pursue her dream. From Brusly to Hollywood and back, she was a force that inspired others. She was kind and generous to all those whom she met and always put herself last. She was very protective of her parents and a mama bear that protected all her cubs.

Alicia was a fighter till the end and will be missed mightily.
