Reddit is one of the most popular social link sharing platforms. Content that is upvoted at reddit gets a lot of traffic. At binarytides we regularly post our links to reddit, to get more visitors and traffic. The amount of traffic varies from post to post and time to time. It depends on the quality of the content and timing too.

This time once again we got very good traffic from reddit, but with little difference. That we did not post the link on reddit, someone else did. One of our recent articles on game development in javascript was posted on reddit and received over 300 upvotes.

The article made on the hot list of the programming sub reddit in the top 3 positions and send us lots of visitors. Here is a google analytics screenshot.
